LINE Manga's original work "Senpai Is an Otokonoko" (by Pomu) will begin airing on Fuji TV's "Noitamina" and other channels starting July 4. To commemorate this, outdoor ads are currently being displayed around 30 school locations in the metropolitan area.

The work ranked 3rd in the "Next Manga Awards 2021" Web Manga category and won 1st place in the AnimeJapan 2022 "5th Most Wanted Anime Adaptation Ranking." In addition to Japanese, it is distributed in seven other languages worldwide, making it a popular webtoon both domestically and internationally.

The protagonist, Makoto Hanaoka, is a boy who loves cute things and lives his high school life as an "otokonoko" (a boy who dresses as a girl). The story delicately and vividly portrays his friendships, pure love, and struggles with those around him.

To commemorate the TV anime broadcast, outdoor ads will be displayed at 30 locations mainly along school routes in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba until July 28 (Sunday). The ads feature beautifully drawn illustrations of "Makoto," "Saki," and "Ryuji" by the author Pomu, along with lines from the story that express their honest feelings of "love."

These outdoor ads are also available on a special webpage. A campaign is being held to invite about 300 students who share the ad designs on social media to a screening event on August 1, "Senpai Is an Otokonoko Day." At the screening, they can watch episode 5 ahead of its broadcast.

Additionally, "Senpai Is an Otokonoko" episodes 1 to 23 are available for free on "LINE Manga" until July 31. The prequel "Encounter Arc" (episodes 101 and onward), which depicts the story before the main completed series, is also being serialized, and exclusive LINE stickers by Pomu are on sale, contributing to the excitement surrounding the anime adaptation.
