JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Yukata Designs Revealed, Featuring Giorno, Bucciarati, and More

The Japanese casual kimono brand furifu has announced a collaboration with the anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. Reservations for the yukata collection will begin on June 19.

The lineup features yukata inspired by Giorno Giovanna, Bruno Bucciarati, Leone Abbacchio, Guido Mista, Narancia Ghirga, Pannacotta Fugo, and Trish Una.

This project was created for fans who have long loved the series, with careful attention paid to the imagery of the original work and its characters. The designs combine furifu’s worldview with the streets of Italy, the setting of the story, as well as the characters’ vibrant presence, hidden energy, and humanity.

Respecting each character’s personality and memorable scenes, the collection presents the yukata as both summer attire and wearable art fashion for everyday use. The result is a new product line that could not have been achieved by the brand alone.

Giorno Giovanna

This design is inspired by Giorno Giovanna, whose elegant appearance as he stands in the stylish streets of Italy symbolizes the destiny and resolve hidden within him. The yukata has a special leading role quality, based on an impressive purple diamond pattern that expresses nobility and intelligence. Heart motifs, one of Giorno’s symbols, add a striking sense of presence, while blue ladybug decorations are scattered throughout as accents.

The obi design combines the life force represented by Gold Experience with arabesque patterns, which originated in ancient Egypt and were later introduced to Japan, adding the elegance of traditional Japanese aesthetics.

Bruno Bucciarati

This refined design is inspired by Bruno Bucciarati, a character with noble beliefs and unwavering resolve. His symbolic zipper motif and sharp lines are boldly arranged throughout the design. From the deep purple space opened by the zipper, the fingertips of Sticky Fingers appear, inviting the viewer into another world and creating an overwhelming presence despite the design’s simplicity.

This special piece expresses Bucciarati’s strength in guiding others and his firm convictions. A message from Bucciarati is also included on the obi.

Leone Abbacchio

This powerful design is inspired by Leone Abbacchio, who carries quiet dignity and unwavering conviction. Deep navy tones are layered with gradated floral patterns, creating shadows that appear and disappear depending on the angle. His distinctive lace up pattern is used as an accent across the entire piece.

Subtle gold motifs shine within the calm color palette, enhancing the design’s nobility and presence. The styling is completed with an obi pattern inspired by Moody Blues’ ability.

Guido Mista

This refreshing design is inspired by Guido Mista, a free spirited gunman who deeply cares for his friends. The clear blue gradation, reminiscent of Edo Kiriko glass, is expressed through a geometric pattern. Red accent colors, sharp composition, and clear color use create a stylish and light impression.

The center of the hemp leaf pattern is designed to resemble bullet holes, while Mista’s Stand, Sex Pistols, is represented together with its numbers. The Pistols are also placed prominently on the obi, adding a playful touch.

Narancia Ghirga

This dynamic design is inspired by the bright and innocent Narancia Ghirga. Set against a dark navy base, white flowers that seem to dance through the wind are orange blossoms. Flowing lines express the sensation of speeding through the sky, while Aerosmith motifs are boldly placed throughout the design.

Based on Narancia’s outfit, orange accents are added to create an energetic and playful piece.

Pannacotta Fugo

This design is inspired by Pannacotta Fugo, a character who combines intelligence with intensity. Built around a vivid green base, the dotted pattern reveals the strawberry pattern from his tie in a straight line. Purple Haze’s toxic power is expressed in part through a blurring technique.

The simple yet distinctive design gives the piece a one of a kind presence. The styling is completed with an obi that evokes Purple Haze.

Trish Una

This romantic design is inspired by Trish Una, whose presence is noble and Gorgeous. Large soft pink flowers are arranged across the entire piece, depicting how she blossoms into a new version of herself through her relationships with her companions.

The softly layered gradation of petals symbolizes elegance within delicacy. The obi features symbolic arithmetic motifs, adding individuality within the sweetness. This special piece expresses an unchangeable destiny and the strength to bloom proudly within it.
