Live-Action ONE PIECE Season 2 Begins, Cast for Secret Crime Organization Baroque Works Announced
The live-action adaptation of 'ONE PIECE' on the streaming service "Netflix" is set to continue. The second season will depict the voyage on the extraordinary sea, the "Grand Line," and the Straw Hat Pirates will face off against the members of the popular secret crime organization Baroque Works from the original manga. The newly announced cast members include Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, and David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3.
The globally popular Japanese comic 'ONE PIECE' by Eiichiro Oda, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), is a grand maritime adventure about the Straw Hat Pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy, who set out to find the legendary treasure "One Piece" left behind by the Pirate King Gold Roger.
In the era of great pirates, a boy named Luffy, who admires the great pirate Red-Haired Shanks, promises to meet him again at sea. Years later, a grown Luffy sets out on the grand ocean to become the Pirate King!

Season 1, set in Luffy’s hometown, the East Blue, depicted intense battles with rough pirates like Buggy and Arlong, and the origins of the Straw Hat Pirates' adventure. Finally becoming a wanted pirate, Luffy and his friends, each with their own dreams, take their first step into the Grand Line.
Daniel Lasker, who plays Mr. 9, has appeared in dramas such as 'Raised by Wolves.' Camrus Johnson, who plays Mr. 5, is known for his role in 'Batwoman.'

Though much about Season 2 remains a mystery, fans are excited to see how these newly announced characters will appear.
