The latest episode (Episode 8, the final episode) of the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Hashira Training Arc" has released its preview scene cuts and synopsis. The final episode will be broadcast in an extended 60-minute slot.

The story of Episode 8, titled "Hashira Gather," unfolds on a quiet night under a shining moon, where Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki residence and finally encounters Kagaya.

"Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" is based on episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, in which Tanjiro and his comrades undergo further training from the corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashiras, to grow stronger. "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on the manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, which has become a hit with over 150 million copies of the comics sold.

Set in the Taisho era, the story revolves around a young boy, Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family killed by demons and to restore his demon-transformed sister, Nezuko, back to human. The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a cultural phenomenon. It led to the blockbuster movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2020, which grossed over 40 billion yen in Japan. The sequel to the movie, "Entertainment District Arc," was broadcast as the anime's second season starting in December 2021, followed by the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," which aired from April 2023.
