Hana is also the master of the Tsugai Zenko Koro. Together with Dera, she hides and protects Yuru while pretending to be married to him so they will not attract suspicion from others.

Appearance and Personality

■Appearance
Hana is a petite woman, but she is also a martial arts focused fitness enthusiast who is obsessed with strength training. One of her distinctive features is the pink dyed section of her bangs.
Her youthful face and large bust reflect one of Hiromu Arakawa’s recurring heroine design traits.
■Personality
Although Hana openly says that she dislikes children, she is surprisingly caring toward Yuru and the others. At first, she strongly resisted playing the role of a mother in the fake family arrangement, but she gradually becomes accustomed to it.
She believes that while she dislikes children themselves, adults who exploit and trample on children’s lives deserve no sympathy. Because of this belief, she feels deep disgust toward Higashimura’s view of Yuru and Asa.
Background
Hana’s occupation is known as a “Gravedigger.” While the exact methods are unknown, she is responsible for disposing of bodies that cannot be publicly handled. Her family has been involved in this line of work for generations.
She also owns a mountain, which is apparently used as a site for body disposal.

■Tsugai: Fore Tiger, Rear Wolf
Fore Tiger, Rear Wolf (JP: 前虎後狼, )is a Tsugai that has been passed down through Hana’s family for generations, with Hana serving as its current contractor.
The pair take the forms of a dog and a cat. The dog is named Jiro, while the cat is named Kotetsu.
Despite being ancient Tsugai, they are fully capable of using modern technology such as smartphones and other electronic devices.
They specialize in tracking abilities. Jiro follows targets through scent, while Kotetsu relays information and coordinates the pursuit. Their sense of smell is extraordinarily sharp, allowing them to continue tracking even when the target uses vehicles for transportation.
Role in the Story

Hana enters into a fake marriage with Dera in order to hide and protect Yuru.
She keeps the truth hidden from the other people with special roles, concealing the fact that she and Dera are sheltering Yuru together. Because of this, she pretends to criticize Dera as a traitor during their meetings in order to avoid suspicion.
However, after a surprise attack by a third faction results in numerous casualties, Hana survives the incident and consequently ends up being entrusted with increasingly important assignments.
Trivia
■Origin of Her Name
