Mobile Suit Gundam X 30th Anniversary Launches New Project Featuring 3D Models of Garrod Ran and Tiffa Adill

A special 30th anniversary program titled After War: What Happened Next? Episode 0 has been released on the official Gundam YouTube channel, Gundam Channel, as well as the streaming service Bandai Channel. The program features Wataru Takagi, who voiced protagonist Garrod Ran, and Mika Kanai, who voiced heroine Tiffa Adill.

During the program, a message from director Shinji Takamatsu commemorating the 30th anniversary was revealed. In addition, a new project utilizing 3D models of Garrod and Tiffa was officially announced.

Cast Reflects on the Series and Demonstrates 3D Models

In Episode 0, Takagi and Kanai share detailed memories from the time of the original broadcast. A longer version of the program, including unreleased footage, is currently available on Bandai Channel.

The newly launched project features 3D models of Garrod Ran and Tiffa Adill. In the program, Takagi and Kanai operate these models themselves, recreating iconic lines from Mobile Suit Gundam X, such as “I’ll sell you a Gundam!” and “I give you power...”.
