The Prince of Tennis Finale Event Visual Revealed, Creator and Voice Cast Unite to Celebrate 27 Year Legacy
The Prince of Tennis finale event visual has been revealed, celebrating the conclusion of the beloved manga series after 27 years.

A commemorative event titled The Prince of Tennis Series Finale Celebration Tennis no Ouji-sama Surprise Summit will be held on July 19 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A to mark the end of the manga series The Prince of Tennis by Takeshi Konomi. Alongside the announcement, a newly illustrated key visual created by Konomi has been unveiled, and official advance ticket lottery applications have begun.
The Prince of Tennis follows Ryoma Echizen, a gifted junior high school tennis player at Seishun Academy, as he grows through matches and rivalries. The series originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2008 and became a major hit, surpassing 60 million copies in circulation.
The franchise has expanded into multiple media formats, including a television anime in 2001, a stage musical in 2003, and a live action film in 2006 starring Kanata Hongo.
Toward the Final Chapter of a 27 Year Journey
The sequel series The New Prince of Tennis began in 2009 in Jump SQ., shifting the story to international tournaments where Ryoma and his teammates face elite players from around the world.
As the story approaches its conclusion after 27 years since its debut, the commemorative event will serve as a special opportunity to thank fans who have supported the series.
Creator and Voice Cast to Appear
The event will feature appearances by creator Takeshi Konomi along with voice actors including Junko Minagawa as Ryoma Echizen, Ryotaro Okiayu as Kunimitsu Tezuka, Takayuki Kondo as Shuichiro Oishi, Yuki Kaida as Shusuke Fuji, Junichi Suwabe as Keigo Atobe, and Hidenobu Kiuchi as Yuushi Oshitari.
The event will be hosted by Narushi Kawamoto as Takashi Kawamura and Masaya Onosaka as Takeshi Momoshiro, bringing together key figures who have supported the series throughout its long history.
