Kamen Rider Den-O 20th Anniversary Project Announced With New Movie Following Agito Film
The original Kamen Rider series first aired on April 3, 1971. On April 3, marking its 55th anniversary, a commemorative event titled “Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Presentation” was held in Tokyo. During the event, it was revealed that a special “Kamen Rider Den-O 20th” project will be launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kamen Rider Den-O, the eighth installment of the Heisei Kamen Rider series, which aired in 2007.

Alongside the announcement, the official “Kamen Rider Den-O 20th” logo was unveiled ahead of the milestone year. Shinichiro Shirakura of Toei commented with a smile that the project is starting “ahead of schedule.” He explained that, following the upcoming film Kamen Rider Agito Psychic War set for release this year, a new movie related to Den-O is also in production. The project is expected to expand across multiple developments, suggesting a large scale rollout.

Story of Kamen Rider Den-O
Kamen Rider Den-O follows Ryotaro Nogami, an extremely unlucky young man who comes into possession of a mysterious ticket known as the Rider Pass. He encounters the DenLiner, a train that travels through time, and becomes possessed by an Imagin named Momotaros.
Ryotaro is revealed to be a “Singularity Point,” a unique existence capable of controlling the Imagin possessing him and transforming into Kamen Rider Den-O. Together with Momotaros and other allied Imagin, he fights to protect the flow of time as Den-O, engaging in battles to safeguard temporal order.
