Episode 1 Story

Amane and Mahiru, now in their second year of high school, face their first day of school since they started dating following the sports festival. Holding onto their promise to be true to themselves, they walk confidently hand in hand, even under the jealous and curious gazes of those around them. Upon arriving at school, widespread surprise spreads regarding Amane’s transformed atmosphere. However, having gone public with their relationship, they receive warm congratulations from their classmates. Yet, before they know it, the two become so absorbed in each other that they lose sight of everyone else.

The relationship between Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina began simply because they happened to live in adjacent apartments. After the sports festival in their second year of high school, the two officially started dating.

Whether it’s enjoying home-cooked meals together or going on a date in yukatas, the atmosphere between them feels almost like a newlywed couple—yet both of them are still constantly heart-pounded and flustered by each other's presence. As they navigate various events together, they begin to overcome their respective pasts.
