The anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten has launched a new promotional visual project inspired by the twelve zodiac signs. The first installment features a striking Gemini-themed illustration of heroine Mahiru Shiina. Fittingly for Gemini, the visual showcases two versions of Mahiru: her usual self and a mischievous alter ego with a playful, devilish charm.

The story follows Amane Fujimiya, a first-year high school student who begins living alone after starting high school. His next-door neighbor turns out to be Mahiru Shiina, the most beautiful girl in school. Although they initially had no connection, their relationship begins to change when Amane offers Mahiru his umbrella one rainy day.

Mahiru, seeing Amane’s disorganized lifestyle, starts taking care of him—cooking meals, cleaning his apartment, and offering support in various ways. As neighbors, the two slowly begin to open their hearts to one another in this gentle, heartfelt romance. The anime adaptation aired from January to March 2023, and production on the second season is currently underway.
