The anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten has unveiled a new Halloween visual featuring its heroine, Mahiru Shiina, dressed in a witch costume. The tagline reads, “Trick or treat, Amane-kun,” making it easy to imagine voice actress Manaka Iwami’s cheerful tone delivering the line.

The production team confirmed that The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 is currently “in active production.”

The story follows Amane Fujimiya, a high school freshman who begins living alone after starting school. His next-door neighbor happens to be Mahiru Shiina, the most beautiful girl at his school. Though they had little interaction at first, their relationship begins when Amane lends Mahiru his umbrella on a rainy day. Concerned about Amane’s messy lifestyle, Mahiru starts cooking and cleaning for him, and the two gradually form a warm, gentle connection. The first season aired from January to March 2023, with the second season set to premiere in April 2026.
