New information about the popular "Dragon Quest" series has been revealed. The remake of Dragon Quest III, titled "HD-2D Dragon Quest III: And Into the Legend..." is set to be released on November 14 for Switch, PS5, Steam, and more.

This remake of "Dragon Quest III" features HD-2D graphics that blend pixel art with 3D CG. Additionally, it was announced as a surprise that "HD-2D Dragon Quest I & II" will be released in 2025.

The "Dragon Quest" series is an RPG where players become the protagonist of the story, facing off against a demon king who seeks to conquer the world. Since the release of the first "Dragon Quest" developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix in 1986, it has become one of Japan's most iconic game titles.

In the released footage, a message reading "The time has come" is shown at the beginning, accompanied by a mural of the legend of Ramia. The beautifully reborn world of "DQIII" is introduced.

Furthermore, the releases of the original "Dragon Quest" and "Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line" were also announced. The video features a cool presentation where the camera pulls back from an illustration of the hero of "DQIII," revealing the heroes from each game. Be sure to watch the footage.
