Manga J⇔M Officially Announced for TV Anime Adaptation

The manga J⇔M has officially been announced for a television anime adaptation. The series is written by Masao Ohtake and serialized in Harta Alternative.

Dark World Assassin and Lonely Girl Swap Lives in “J⇔M”

J⇔M follows the unusual switching life between two very different characters. One is J, a solitary assassin feared as an “untouchable” within the criminal underworld. The other is Megumi, a lonely girl who feels she has no place either at home or at school.

The story centers on the dramatic circumstances that lead the two to experience a life switching situation, creating a unique narrative that blends action and emotional storytelling.

Original Creator Masao Ohtake Celebrates the Anime Adaptation

To commemorate the anime adaptation announcement, original creator Masao Ohtake released a comment along with a celebratory illustration.

Comment from Masao Ohtake
“The anime adaptation of J⇔M has been decided. Thank you very much. I believe that by becoming an animated work, scenes such as the action sequences will be presented in ways that differ from the manga and will make the story even more enjoyable.

Because it is a body swapping story, I think voice acting will add a unique kind of entertainment that cannot be expressed in manga.”
