Suikoden Anime Set for October Premiere as First Trailer Reveals 8 Additional Cast Members Including Taku Yashiro and Chika Anzai

The Suikoden anime has been confirmed to premiere in October. Along with the announcement, the first promotional video and eight additional cast members were revealed.

The newly released PV features the main characters who shape the story, including the protagonists Riliu and Jowy Atreides, as well as other key figures from the series.

The newly announced cast includes Taku Yashiro as Luca Blight, Chika Anzai as Jill Blight, Akihiro Mine as Raundo, Tsukino Chikasada as Pirika, Ayumu Murase as Luc, Takeo Otsuka as Shu, Yoshino Aoyama as Apple, and Masato Niwa as Mukumuku.

The Suikoden series, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 15, 2025, is a flagship RPG franchise by Konami Digital Entertainment. Since the release of Suikoden I in 1995, the series has gained popularity for its rich storytelling and large cast of more than 108 unique characters appearing in each installment.

The television anime is directed by Yuzo Sato, known for his distinctive visual style and work on numerous science fiction projects, including the anime Exception. Animation production is handled by KONAMI animation.
