Suikoden II Anime Reveals Composer Koji Nakamura and Main Cast Including Toshiki Kumagai, Shinba Tsuchiya, Ayumi Hihara, Katsuyuki Konishi, and Yuichi Nakamura

It has been announced that Koji Nakamura will compose the soundtrack for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Suikoden II, scheduled to air in 2026. Known for scoring dramas, films, and animated features, this marks Nakamura’s first anime soundtrack since Eureka Seven AO.

Alongside the music announcement, the latest key visuals and character designs for the five main characters were unveiled. Toshiki Kumagai will voice Riliu, Shinba Tsuchiya will portray Jowy, Ayumi Hihara will voice Nanami, Katsuyuki Konishi will play Victor, and Yuichi Nakamura will voice Flik.

The Suikoden series, developed by Konami Digital Entertainment, will celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 15, 2025. Since the release of Suikoden I in 1995, the RPG franchise has gained immense popularity for its expansive cast of more than 108 unique characters and deep, dramatic storytelling.

The anime will be directed by Yuzo Sato, known for his distinctive visual style in exception and numerous science fiction works. Animation will be produced by KONAMI animation.
