Konami has announced the first large-scale exhibition for the Suikoden series, titled Suikoden I & II 30th Anniversary Exhibition: Gensō Museum. It will take place at Gallery AaMo in Tokyo Dome City from December 6, 2025, to January 12, 2026. Suikoden Celebrates 30 Years with First Major Exhibition

The Suikoden franchise will mark its 30th anniversary with its first-ever large-scale exhibition. Since the release of Suikoden I in 1995, the series has built a legacy around its vast cast of over 108 characters and intricate storylines. The exhibition opens just before the series’ official anniversary on December 15, 2025.

The event is themed as a “fictional museum within the world of Suikoden,” allowing visitors to experience what it might feel like to step into the RPG universe. It offers a unique “real RPG experience,” immersing fans in the settings of the Toran Republic and Dunan Republic.

Life-Sized Statues and Rare Production Materials on Display

A central highlight of the exhibition is a set of life-sized character statues that recreate iconic scenes from Suikoden I and II. Visitors can enjoy photo spots themed around memorable moments, with some exhibits rotating between the first and second halves of the event period.

The venue will also feature detailed displays of weapons, costumes, and accessories “actually” used by characters in the story, complete with visible damage and wear, conveying the passage of time and battle.

In addition, many rare production assets—including original illustrations and story planning documents, some shown for the first time—will be showcased. These materials provide insight into the development and narrative structure of the games.

The exhibition will include a multimedia zone that highlights the full history of the Suikoden series, from Suikoden I through Suikoden V. It also features previews of upcoming titles such as Suikoden STAR LEAP, the stage play Suikoden – Gate Rune War Arc, and the newly announced anime adaptation.

This section serves as a retrospective on the franchise's 30-year legacy and a preview of its future developments across various media formats.

Admission tickets, including those bundled with exclusive merchandise, became available for reservation starting August 5, 2025.
