Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter Anime Announced, Produced by Doga Kobo with Visual and Celebration Illustration Revealed

The manga Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter has been officially announced for a television anime adaptation. Animation will be produced by Doga Kobo, with background art handled by KUSANAGI.

The story follows Eve, a young girl abandoned in the Forest of the Discarded, and Nem, an aging dragon nearing the end of his life. Together, they form a heartwarming bond that transcends species, creating a touching tale of an unlikely parent and child.

To commemorate the anime adaptation, a teaser visual and a celebration illustration from the original creator have been released.

When I first received the news about the anime adaptation, it felt so unreal that I could hardly process my emotions. I still remember my editor saying, “The anime is still a long way off, so let’s focus on continuing the manga,” while reminding me of the reality of deadlines.
