Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Enters the Divine Revolte Arc in Season 2, Shinichiro Miki Cast as Demon General Revolte

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 will enter the Divine Revolte Arc starting with the February 27 broadcast. A new visual has been unveiled to commemorate the beginning of this chapter, and Shinichiro Miki has been cast as the demon Revolte.

The Divine Revolte Arc is based on episodes included in Volume 8 of the original manga. The newly released visual features Frieren, Fern, and Stark, along with two First Class Mages who appeared in Season 1 during the First Class Mage Exam Arc: Genau, voiced by Tarusuke Singaki, and Methode, voiced by Reina Ueda. Lurking ominously in the twilight behind them is the attacking demon known as Divine Revolte.

A Battle Focused Turn in the Divine Revolte Arc

In contrast to the tone established earlier in Season 2, the new visual emphasizes intense combat, raising anticipation for the battles that will unfold in the anime. Why are Genau and Methode standing alongside Frieren and her companions? What meaning lies behind the tagline, “To protect our homeland, we strike”? Expectations are building as the story moves into a more action driven phase.

Divine Revolte is a demon general who wields four swords simultaneously, each created through his own magic. Commenting on his role, Shinichiro Miki shared, “I will give it my all in front of the microphone. Thank you very much for your support.”

Season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will not air on February 20. The next episode, Season 2 Episode 6 overall Episode 34 titled “Subjugation Request,” which marks the start of the Divine Revolte Arc, will broadcast on February 27 at 11:00 PM.
