Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 Reveals Fern’s Date Outfit and Frieren’s Braided Hair Look When Fern Is in a Good Mood

The popular television anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End revealed new visuals following the broadcast of Episode 32 of Season 2 on the 6th. The newly released artwork features a date visual of Fern and Stark, as well as a special illustration of Frieren showing Fern’s braided hairstyle that appears when Fern is in a good mood.

Fern and Stark’s Date Depicted in Episode 32

Episode 32, titled “Someone’s Hometown,” focuses on a date between Fern and Stark. In the previous episode, Stark invites Fern out on a date intending to tease her, but her unexpected reaction leaves him confused. Despite their mutual uncertainty, the two decide to go on the date together.

Hoping to make Fern enjoy herself, Stark asks Frieren about places Fern likes and takes her there. Although Fern briefly shows a lonely expression at seeing Stark act unlike his usual clumsy self, she is ultimately happy that he earnestly thought about how to make her enjoy the day. The episode highlights how their distance gradually closes and their bond deepens.

The newly revealed visual captures the two walking together on their date. Fern is shown wearing a cute purple dress with a floral pattern, an outfit unlike her usual appearance, while Stark walks beside her, clearly conscious of her presence. Another visual released alongside it features Frieren with Fern’s braided hairstyle that appears when Fern is in a good mood, offering a glimpse into Fern’s feelings after the date.

Additionally, a newly revealed Animate store purchase bonus visual for the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 Blu-ray and DVD has also been unveiled. The illustration depicts Fern wearing the other dress she hesitated to choose at the beginning of Episode 32, alongside Frieren with braided hair, as the two smile and chat while enjoying drinks.
