Skyship Journey to the Resort Island
The newly revealed footage depicts Rimuru and his group enjoying a brief moment of rest after the Founding Festival of the Jura Tempest Federation. They are invited by Empress Elmesia of the Sorcerous Dynasty Sarion and board a majestic flying dragon ship that races across the sky toward a resort island owned by her.

Gathered aboard the powerful vessel are familiar faces including Rimuru, Veldora, Benimaru, Shuna, Shion, Soei, Gobta, Ranga, Hinata, Luminous, Elmesia, and Milim. The destination of the dragon ship is a grand resort surrounded by the vast azure sea and rich natural scenery. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows Satoru Mikami, an ordinary office worker who is killed in a random stabbing incident and reincarnated in another world as a slime named Rimuru. After gaining powerful abilities, Rimuru sets out to build a nation where all races can live together in harmony, using his acquired skills, intelligence, and courage to gather allies.

The original story began serialization on the web novel platform Shosetsuka ni Naro and later expanded into a manga adaptation. The series has surpassed 56 million copies in cumulative circulation. The anime adaptation premiered in October 2018, followed by Season 2 airing from January to March and July to September 2021, and Season 3 from April to September 2024. A theatrical anime film was released in 2022, and production of Season 4 has also been confirmed.
This latest theatrical installment is a completely new story conceived and fully supervised by the original author Fuse. Set in the underwater Kingdom of Cayenne, the film follows Rimuru and his companions as they head to Cayenne to rescue Yura, delivering a brand new chapter in the series.
