Evangelion Expo Returns to Tokyo for the First Time in Two Years This September, Featuring 4,000 Items

The "EVANGELION CROSSING EXPO" – an exhibition delving into the collaboration history of "things" and "events" in the anime series "Evangelion" – is set to take place at the Roppongi Museum in Tokyo from September 13 to October 22. This returning exhibition will showcase an impressive collection of 4,000 collaborative items.

The "Evangelion Expo," which first started in July 2022 at Shibuya Hikarie in Tokyo, has since toured seven locations nationwide, including Osaka, Fukuoka, Akita, Niigata, Nagoya, and Aomori, drawing large crowds. Due to overwhelming fan requests, the expo is making a triumphant return to Tokyo after two years, with enhanced exhibits that promise a fresh experience for those who visited the Shibuya venue as well as new visitors.

The expo features a diverse array of "things," such as figures, apparel, daily goods, and traditional crafts, alongside "events" like games, pachinko, and motorsports. Additionally, it highlights various collaborative projects and events, showcasing how Evangelion has continually pushed boundaries and expanded its appeal beyond the realm of anime.

Visitors to the event can look forward to an overwhelming display of approximately 4,000 items, including well-known project-related goods and rare collectibles that are no longer available. This impressive showcase aims to deliver the full power and appeal of Evangelion to its fans.
