Dragon Ball Global Character Poll Final Results Announced: Goku Claims a Landslide Victory as No.1

The final results of the first ever global character popularity poll for Dragon Ball titled DRAGON BALL THE ONE have been officially announced, with Son Goku taking first place by a wide margin.

Son Goku Dominates the Global Rankings

Son Goku secured the top position and maintained first place consistently from the first stage of voting through the final stage.

Second place went to Vegeta, followed by Son Gohan in third, Piccolo in fourth, and Vegito in fifth.

The remaining rankings in the top ten were Future Trunks in sixth, Bardock in seventh, Android 18 in eighth, Cell in ninth, and Frieza in tenth.

From eleventh place onward, the results were Krillin in eleventh, Yamcha in twelfth, Bulma in thirteenth, Tien Shinhan in fourteenth, Bulma’s black cat in fifteenth, Goten in sixteenth, Chi Chi in seventeenth, Android 17 in eighteenth, Launch in nineteenth, Videl in twentieth, and Raditz in twenty first.

Voting Format and Final Stage Breakdown

The poll featured 212 characters from the original Dragon Ball manga and was conducted in a survival format across four stages. As each stage progressed, the number of eligible characters was reduced. After the conclusion of every stage, a revival vote was held on X, allowing one eliminated character to return and advance to the next round.

In the FINAL stage, the surviving characters based on third stage results were Son Goku in first, Vegeta in second, Son Gohan in third, Piccolo in fourth, and Vegito in fifth. They were followed by Future Trunks, Bardock, Cell, Android 18, and Yamcha.

Additional rankings included Frieza, Bulma, Chi Chi, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Bulma’s black cat, Goten, Videl, Raditz, and Launch, with Android 17 joining as the final contestant through the revival round, making a total of 21 characters in the final stage.
