Jujutsu Kaisen Unveils New Culling Game Key Visual, Creditless OP & ED Videos as Season 3 Confirms 12 Episode 1st Cour and Broadcast Schedule
To commemorate the broadcast of Episode 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Culling Game Part 1 (corresponding to Episodes 48 and 49 overall), which aired at 12:26 a.m. Japan time on January 9, a new key visual has been unveiled. In addition, it has been announced that the ending theme will be “Yoake no Uta” by jo0ji, alongside the release of the creditless opening and ending videos and details regarding the upcoming broadcast schedule.

New Key Visual Reveals the Intensity of the Culling Game
To commemorate the broadcast of Episode 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Culling Game First Cour, corresponding to Episodes 48 and 49 overall, a brand new key visual has been released. The episode aired at 12:26 a.m. Japan time on January 9.
The Season 3 key visual, newly illustrated by animation studio MAPPA, depicts Yuji Itadori clenching his fist and facing forward with determination. Standing behind him are Yuta Okkotsu holding a sword and Megumi Fushiguro, while Suguru Geto, known here as Noritoshi Kamo, appears with a mocking smile. The visual also features third year Jujutsu High students Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi, as well as Culling Game players Hiromi Higuruma and Takaba, alongside other characters making their debut in Season 3. Together, they create a powerful image that foreshadows the fierce battles to come.
The illustration captures the essence of the deadly ritual known as the Culling Game, a killing contest orchestrated by the worst sorcerer in history, Noritoshi Kamo, with a sense of the story continuing to turn relentlessly forward.

Creditless OP and ED Videos Highlight the Emotional and Action Driven Arc
The newly released creditless opening video begins with Yuji Itadori seen from behind and unfolds in perfect sync with the intense rock sound of the opening theme song “AIZO” by King Gnu. Rapid fire action scenes show Yuji throwing punches and Yuta wielding his sword, creating an overwhelming sense of speed that instantly raises the energy of Jujutsu Kaisen. The video also teases the ominous presence of Suguru Geto and introduces new characters appearing in Season 3, hinting at the brutal battles and complex relationships that will define the arc.
Alongside it, the creditless ending video set to the ending theme “Yoake no Uta” by jo0ji has also been unveiled. The ending focuses on Yuji Itadori with expressions filled with anguish and inner conflict, intercut with striking red Art Deco style stained glass imagery. As grand landscapes shift one after another, memorable visuals such as Ryomen Sukuna’s fingers and Nobara Kugisaki seen from behind appear throughout, conveying the harsh path Yuji has walked as a jujutsu sorcerer.
