The second promotional video for Chained Soldier Season 2 was unveiled for the first time on December 20 at the Jump Festa 2026 stage event. The TV anime is set to begin airing on January 8, 2026.

The newly released second PV highlights how Yuki Wakura undergoes different Slave transformations after being “lent” to each unit commander. The video also introduces new characters and features a series of intense battle scenes that further raise anticipation for the upcoming season.

The PV is accompanied by the opening theme song “Hikari yo, Boku ni.(JP: 光よ、僕に。)” performed by Akari Kito. The fast paced track enhances the dynamic visuals, showcasing one action packed moment after another as the characters take center stage.

Footage from the highly popular “The Azuma Banquet” arc is also partially included in the PV. Following this reveal, new cast members for the Azuma family were officially announced. Shiori Izawa will voice Tobera Azuma, Yuna Nemoto will portray Homare Azuma, and Kaori Maeda will take on the role of Maia Azuma.

In conjunction with the PV release, the official website updated character visuals across the board. The Eight Thunder Gods appear in their Season 2 designs, while new expression visuals for the Azuma family characters were also revealed.
