The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 6 of the highly popular TV anime 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' new series 'Hashira Training Arc' have been released.

Episode 6, titled 'The Strongest Demon Slayer (tentative title),' follows Tanjiro as he heads to the training grounds of Himejima, located deep in the mountains, along with Zenitsu after overcoming training with Iguro and Sanemi. They reunite briefly with Inosuke and Murata, who had already started their training, before Himejima's rigorous training begins.

"Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" is based on episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, in which Tanjiro and his comrades undergo further training from the corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashiras, to grow stronger. "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on the manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, which has become a hit with over 150 million copies of the comics sold.

Set in the Taisho era, the story revolves around a young boy, Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family killed by demons and to restore his demon-transformed sister, Nezuko, back to human. The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a cultural phenomenon. It led to the blockbuster movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2020, which grossed over 40 billion yen in Japan. The sequel to the movie, "Entertainment District Arc," was broadcast as the anime's second season starting in December 2021, followed by the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," which aired from April 2023.
