Season 3 is officially titled The Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc. The story centers on Mash Burnedead, a boy born without any magical ability in a world where magic determines all social status and power. Having successfully cleared the Divine Visionary candidate selection exam alongside his companions, Mash now faces the ultimate final trial in his pursuit of becoming a Divine Visionary.
Elite students from prestigious magic academies gather for this final exam, while the presence of assassins working behind the scenes is also hinted at. As Mash confronts powerful new enemies, the series is expected to deliver an intense and suspense filled narrative filled with high stakes battles.

MASHLE New Characters
The newly released Season 3 teaser video was screened for the first time exclusively at the Jump Festa 2026 venue. The teaser visual showcases a heavy and dramatic atmosphere that strongly reflects the distinctive world of the series and heightens anticipation for what lies ahead.
Character design for Season 3 is handled by Chiaki Kozumi, who previously served as a sub character designer on Solo Leveling. During the event, cast members also appeared on stage, and new character design visuals for Mash voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi, Finn voiced by Reiji Kawashima, and Lance voiced by Kaito Ishikawa were revealed for the first time.
