Sequel to "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" Announced, New Footage Released
A sequel to the anime "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" has been officially announced, along with the release of new footage.
"Mashle: Magic and Muscles" is an anime adaptation of the manga by Hajime Komoto, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The manga concluded in July 2023. Set in a world where magic is commonplace, the story follows Mash Burnedead, a protagonist unable to use magic. Instead, he relies on his trained muscles and strength to strive for the title of "Divine Visionary," the top position at a magic school, in this "abnormal magic fantasy."
The manga has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to July 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2024.
The announcement of the anime sequel was made during a special event held on the 26th, titled "TV Anime 'Mashle: Magic and Muscles' Special Event - A Study in Cream with Mash Burnedead and Friends." The release of the teaser footage was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience
