Oshi no Ko Season 3 has been officially announced to premiere on January 14, 2026, starting at 11:00 PM Japan time on Japanese broadcasters including TOKYO MX. The series will also stream simultaneously and exclusively at the fastest timing on the Japanese streaming service ABEMA from the same date and time. Alongside this announcement, a new promotional television commercial video has been released.

Oshi no Ko Season 3 and the 2026 Sapporo Snow Festival

It has also been confirmed that the TV anime Oshi no Ko will participate in the 2026 Sapporo Snow Festival, held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, from February 4 through February 11. An original snow sculpture inspired by Ai will be displayed at the venue. In addition, a special nighttime lighting presentation will be held, illuminating the snow sculpture in sync with music from Oshi no Ko.

About Oshi no Ko

Oshi no Ko is a story that depicts both the brilliance and darkness of the entertainment industry. The protagonist, Goro, works as an obstetrician and encounters his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino. After dying due to a certain incident, Goro is reincarnated as Ai’s child, Aqua. This event leads him to follow the same path into the entertainment world.

The original manga was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024 and has surpassed 20 million copies in circulation. The series won the Grand Prize in the Comics category at the Next Manga Awards 2021. When the first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, it became a major topic of discussion, particularly due to its opening theme Idol by YOASOBI.
