The third season of the TV anime Oshi no Ko will begin airing on January 14, 2026, across more than 30 networks including TOKYO MX. Alongside this announcement, the main visual and the first promotional video have been released. The ending theme will be “Serenade,” a newly written song by Natori.

A longtime fan of the original manga, Natori commented, “I wrote Serenade inspired by Aqua. The more I tried to understand him as a person, the more I felt as though I was sinking into an inescapable darkness. I created this song wishing that, at least during the time this music plays, he could rest peacefully. Please listen to it many times.”

About Oshi no Ko

Oshi no Ko tells a story that looks at the good and bad parts of the entertainment industry. The main character, Goro, a gynecologist, meets his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, but dies in an unexpected way. He then comes back as Aqua, Ai's child, and starts following the same path in the entertainment world.

The manga was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024, and has been printed more than 20 million times. It won first place in the comic category of the Next Manga Awards 2021. The first season was shown from April to June 2023. It was popular and received a lot of attention.
