The third season of the hit anime Oshi no Ko is set to premiere in 2026. To build anticipation, a teaser visual titled “side Aqua” has been revealed, alongside the season's official story introduction.

The visual highlights Aqua, one of the story’s central figures, signaling a pivotal turn in his journey. Additionally, an introduction to Season 3 has been released, teasing new developments for each of the main characters.

A commemorative video featuring newly recorded voice lines by Ruby has also been made available, offering fans a glimpse into what’s to come in the next chapter of the anime.

At the special fan event “Strawberry Production☆Fan Thanksgiving Festival 2025” held on February 2, it was announced that live performance footage from the event will be released weekly on YouTube over the course of four weeks. The first video, featuring Yurie's Ikoma, Megumi Han, and Rumi Okubo performing “POP IN 2,” will premiere today at 6:00 PM JST.

About Oshi no Ko

The anime Oshi no Ko delves into the glittering yet shadowy world of show business. The story begins with Goro, an obstetrician who dies under mysterious circumstances after meeting his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, and is reincarnated as her son, Aqua. This twist of fate leads him into the entertainment industry, following in Ai’s footsteps.

Based on the manga serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024, the series has sold over 20 million copies. It won the Grand Prize in the 2021 Next Manga Awards (Comics Category). The first season of the anime aired from April to June 2023 and became a major hit alongside its opening theme "Idol" by YOASOBI. The second season aired from July to October 2024, and the franchise has since expanded into a live-action drama and film.
