Joining the cast are Kenyu Horiuchi as Shin Kaibara, the powerful head of the Toyo Foundation who holds the key to the second half of the story, and Ryotaro Okiayu as Michael Heinz, the father of the three sisters. Heinz is a painter who went missing fifteen years ago following a fire at the Harada Art Museum, an incident that lies at the heart of the story.
The first half of the series, Episodes 1 through 6, has been streaming since September. The newly released trailer opens with a striking scene in which Hitomi quietly yet resolutely declares, “Let’s take everything back. Dad’s paintings scattered all over the world.” From there, the preview vividly portrays the sisters’ desperate search for their missing father, their resolve to live as phantom thieves, and their determination to carve out their own destiny.
At the same time, the thrilling cat and mouse battle between the three sisters as Cat’s Eye and Toshio, who relentlessly pursues them, intensifies even further. Hitomi’s wavering line, “A thief and a detective… maybe it really is impossible,” encapsulates her inner conflict and symbolizes the complex emotions she struggles with. Packed with iconic moments from the series, the footage overflows with the unique tension and allure that define Cat’s Eye.
Midway through, the tone of the trailer shifts dramatically. Kaibara makes his first appearance, delivering the chilling line, “The seeds have been sown, Cat’s Eye,” with a fearless smile that signals the beginning of the greatest trial the sisters will face in the second half. What follows are scenes of intense car chases and cryptic references to a mysterious organization known as the Kranuff Syndicate.
Meanwhile, Toshio wrestles with the shocking realization, saying, “Hitomi is Cat’s Eye…? That can’t be…” As he draws closer to uncovering the sisters’ secret, he is forced to confront his own conflicted emotions. A heart wrenching scene shows Hitomi rushing desperately to Toshio after he is injured in an explosion. This is followed by a warning that “This may be a trap, aimed at Cat’s Eye,” and the anxious expression on the face of the youngest sister, Ai, foreshadowing that the second half will plunge into even greater danger and intensity.
The powerful words spoken by the three sisters underscore their unwavering bond and resolve. Rui declares, “They’re here already,” Ai announces, “Operation start,” and Hitomi calmly states, “Yes, maybe this is where it really begins.” Together, these lines convey the rising momentum and excitement as the story accelerates toward its climax.

“For me, Cat’s Eye is a hugely popular anime from my youth. It is a tremendous honor to be able to appear in such a work. I played the role of Kaibara this time, a character with many layers and quirks, and I truly enjoyed performing him. I hope all the fans enjoy it to the fullest.”

■Ryotaro Okiayu as Michael Heinz
“I will be playing Heinz, the father of the three sisters. I have been a devoted reader since the manga was serialized, and in the Kansai region the anime reruns aired frequently, so it is a very familiar and dearly loved work for me. I guess my persistence paid off,” he added with a laugh. “As the man whose existence becomes the reason Cat’s Eye steals works of art, I hope you also pay close attention to his past.”
