Ado’s Ending Theme “CAT’S EYE” for the New Anime Cat’s Eye to Be Released on September 12

Ado’s ending theme “CAT’S EYE” for the new anime Cat’s Eye will be digitally released on September 12. The anime is set to stream exclusively on Disney+ “Star” starting September 26.

Shonen Jump from 1981 to 1984, Cat’s Eye follows three beautiful sisters—Hitomi, Rui, and Ai—who run a café by day while secretly operating as the phantom thieves known as Cat’s Eye. The series enjoys lasting popularity not only in Japan but also across Asia, Europe, and North America.

The anime will have 12 episodes in total. The first half (Episodes 1–6) will be available to watch online every week from September 26 to October 31, and the second half (Episodes 7–12) will be available from December 26 to January 30, 2026. Ado performs two songs. One is "CAT'S EYE," and the other is "MAGIC." Tsumiki wrote, composed, and arranged "MAGIC."

LIDEN FILMS produced the anime, and Yoshifumi Sueda directed it. Hayashi Mori wrote the scripts. Yosuke Yabumoto is in charge of the characters and animation, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music. Hayashi is well-known for his work on My Hero Academia and Haikyu!!. The voice cast includes Mikako Komatsu, Ami Koshimizu, Yumiri Hanamori, Takuya Sato, Katsuyuki Konishi, and Yoko Hikasa.

The original manga Cat's Eye will also be re-released as a 10-volume edition by Coamix. You can buy volumes 1–4 starting on September 20. Two new volumes will be released each month until December.
