Based on the magical academy fantasy manga serialized on Magazine Pocket since March 16, 2022, the story follows Spica Virgo, a “witch apprentice” who cannot use magic. To gain admission to the magic academy she admires, she needs a master, yet she has neither money nor connections. At that moment, a mysterious black cat capable of speaking human language and using magic appears before her. Sharing aligned motives — Spica’s yearning to learn sorcery and the cat’s desire to break its curse — the two secretly enter into a master-apprentice pact.
