The Precure manga series by Futago Kamikita, based on the original work by Izumi Todo, will conclude in the February issue of Nakayoshi released on the twenty seventh. The currently serialized Kimi to Idol Precure♪ reaches its final chapter in the same issue, bringing an end to approximately twenty two years of continuous serialization since the manga first began in 2004.

The official Nakayoshi website announced that the series will end with the February issue, stating “The Precure series by Futago Kamikita will conclude with the final chapter of You and Idol Pretty Cure♪ in the February issue. Thank you so much for all your support” and “Thank you truly for supporting us for twenty two years.”

Futago Kamikita was born on August eleven under the Leo sign and has blood type B. Hailing from Kochi Prefecture, the duo made their first serialized debut in Nakayoshi magazine in 2002 with Yobarete Tobidete! Akubi chan. Their representative works include Futari wa Precure. As their pen name indicates, the creators are twin sisters who work together on their manga.

Their Precure manga adaptations have spanned all twenty two titles from the original Futari wa Precure to the latest Kimi to Idol Precure♪, earning deep affection from Precure fans across generations.
