The official X account for the anime World Trigger has released a mysterious new visual, igniting intense speculation among fans. The visual features the text “12.4 REBOOT”, suggesting that new information will be announced on December 4.

World Trigger follows Yuma Kuga, an otherworldly visitor known as a Neighbor, and Osamu Mikumo, a member of the Border defense agency established to fight back against these extraterrestrial invaders. The story depicts their encounters with unknown threats and their growth through the battles that follow.

The original manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2013 before moving to Jump SQ. in December 2018. The anime has aired three seasons so far: Season 1 from October 2014 to April 2016, Season 2 from January to April 2021, and Season 3 from October 2021 to January 2022.
