New Cast Announced for Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time Five Additional Voice Actors Revealed

The upcoming completely new anime film Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time (JP: 劇場版「暗殺教室」みんなの時間), set for release on March 20, 2026, has announced five additional cast members. Yuichiro Umehara, Kappei Yamaguchi, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Hiroki Touchi, and Tetsu Inada join the film as characters making their first appearance in the franchise.

Produced to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Assassination Classroom TV anime, the film features the returning cast from the original series. This will be the first new animated installment in ten years since the conclusion of Season 2 in 2016, and will adapt an episode that has never been animated before.

Assassination Classroom follows the story of a mysterious creature known as Koro-sensei, who possesses Mach 20 speed and overwhelming power. After declaring his intent to destroy the Earth, he unexpectedly becomes the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, a class of academic underachievers. The students are tasked with assassinating Koro-sensei before graduation, depicting a year filled with determination and growth.

The original manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016, with total manga sales surpassing 27 million copies. The TV anime aired in two seasons, from January to June 2015 and January to July 2016. A live-action film adaptation starring Ryosuke Yamada was also released in 2015.

Comments from the Newly Announced Cast

Yuichiro Umehara

Seeker (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara)
“It is a great honor to be involved in such a long-beloved series. Recording with the senior cast members as one of the assassins was truly enjoyable. There were many comedic scenes where I had to hold back laughter, and I hope that sense of fun and energy comes through. Seeker is an assassin but also has a certain charm, so I believe audiences will find him appealing. Please look forward to Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time.”

Kappei Yamaguchi

Futoshi (voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi)
“I participated as Futoshi, a regular at the izakaya Azusa. Recording together with the assassin team was genuinely fun. The rhythm and atmosphere of the dialogue were perfect, and the session ended before I knew it. I am very excited to see how the final version turns out.”

Kazuhiro Yamaji

“When I heard I would be playing a character targeting Koro-sensei, I thought, ‘Leave it to me.’ But once I actually played the role, it felt like my heart was the one being taken down first. That teacher dodges bullets and even scripts with ease, as if aiming for laughs from beyond the screen. Even after ten years, the target still sits right in the center of readers’ hearts. Assassination Classroom is truly a fearsome work. Consider this a celebratory salvo—boom!”

Hiroki Touchi

Chantha (voiced by Hiroki Touchi)
“I, Hiroki Touchi, am participating as Chantha in Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time. Getting to work on such a hugely popular series—and in a theatrical edition no less—had me fired up throughout the recording. My character is one of the assassins targeting Koro-sensei, and the voice cast around me was incredibly talented. It was a fantastic experience. Please look forward to it.”

Sengoku (voiced by Tetsu Inada)
“I have appeared in both previous anime adaptations of Yusei Matsui’s works, and I had always secretly wished I could also be part of Assassination Classroom. I never imagined that wish would come true in such an unexpected way. Now I hope I can appear in the next of Matsui-sensei’s anime adaptations as well. But before thinking that far ahead—first and foremost, please watch this new Assassination Classroom film!”
