The new opening theme, titled "Yellow Signal" and performed by Sora Tomonari, introduces a high-energy, infectious rhythm paired with a lively montage of characters as they appear one after another. It’s a visually exciting sequence that pulls viewers right back into the world of E-Class.

The ending theme, "Tsuki no Fune" by Atarayo, offers a more reflective and emotional tone. Displayed on the screen of the AI character Ritsu, the ending presents iconic moments from the series in a nostalgic, heartfelt way. The camera gradually zooms out to reveal Korosensei and student Nagisa Shiota in the E-Class classroom, though notably, the other students are absent—raising questions about how this sequence might evolve over time.

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016, Assassination Classroom has sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The story follows Korosensei, a mysterious creature with Mach 20 speed and destructive power, who becomes the homeroom teacher of the underachieving Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The students are given a mission: to assassinate their teacher before graduation.

The anime adaptation aired in 2015 on Fuji TV, followed by a live-action film starring Ryôsuke Yamada later that year.
