The completely new anime film “Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time (premiering March 20, 2026, in Japan) has announced its additional cast members.

Joining the film are Kikuko Inoue as Azusa, Mai Fuchigami as Hotaru, Sayumi Suzushiro as Kaho Tsuchiya, and Mai Kanazawa as Kokona Tagawa.

Notably, Hotaru (a girl who looks exactly like Nagisa) is voiced by Mai Fuchigami, who also portrays Nagisa Shiota, meaning she will perform both roles. All four cast members have shared comments on their involvement.

This new film commemorates the tenth anniversary of the original TV anime broadcast, with the main cast from the series returning to reprise their roles.

It marks the first completely new animated installment in ten years since Season 2 aired in 2016, featuring an entirely original adaptation of episodes that have never before been animated.

Assassination Classroom follows the story of “Koro-sensei,” a mysterious creature who declares he will destroy Earth yet becomes the homeroom teacher of the underperforming Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The students are tasked with assassinating Koro-sensei before graduation, leading to a year of intense challenges, growth, and emotional bonds.

The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016 and has surpassed 27 million copies in print. The TV anime aired Season 1 from January to June 2015 and Season 2 from January to July 2016.

“I am Sayumi Suzushiro, and I will be playing Kaho Tsuchiya!

I watched Assassination Classroom in my teens before becoming a voice actor, so being able to participate now feels overwhelming.

When I read the script with excitement, I found that despite her cute outward appearance, Kaho has an outrageous personality that made me laugh.

There were scenes where I completely let loose during recording, and it became an unforgettable and incredibly fun experience.

Kokona Tagawa :Mai Kanazawa

“I am Mai Kanazawa, and I voice Kokona Tagawa.

It is a tremendous honor to portray a wild and eccentric character created by Yusei Matsui-sensei, whose works I have loved since elementary school.

I will never forget the shock I felt when I saw the words ‘Assassination Classroom’ in the email from my agency.

During recording, the sound director told me, ‘Feel free to go wild,’ so I did exactly that.

Kokona can be a bit self-centered, but she is also honest and great at delivering quips. I hope you enjoy her performance!”
