Originally broadcast beginning April 7, 1995, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing is the second installment in the “Alternative Universe” series, which is set in a world separate from the Universal Century timeline. The story opens dynamically with five Gundams launching a sudden strike against a powerful organization, and its fast paced narrative continued through to the finale. It was also the first Gundam series to air in the United States, contributing to the franchise’s international recognition. This year marks the 30th anniversary of its broadcast.
