The story and preview images for Episode 8 (overall Episode 167) of the TV anime My Hero Academia Final Season (JP: 僕のヒーローアカデミア FINAL SEASON) have been released. The episode will air on Saturday, November 22 at 5:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 8 Story

It is revealed that All For One had meticulously manipulated events since the childhood of Tomura Shigaraki, formerly known as Tenko Shimura, in order to make him his next vessel. Now fully possessing Shigaraki’s body, All For One faces Izuku Midoriya “Deku” and the heroes in their final battle. As All For One unleashes an overwhelming array of Quirks, the heroes fight desperately to clear a path for Deku. Empowered by their support, and by the voices of people around the world watching the battle unfold, Deku keeps running toward his destiny.

About My Hero Academia

Based on the best-selling manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2014 to 2024, My Hero Academia depicts a world where superpowers known as Quirks are commonplace. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, a boy born without a Quirk who dreams of becoming a hero. Under the mentorship of the Symbol of Peace, All Might, he enrolls at U.A. High School to train alongside his classmates to protect society from those who would use their powers for evil.

The anime first aired in 2016 and has continued through seven seasons. The Final Season marks the eighth and concluding chapter of the TV adaptation.
