The new key visual titled “Go for it Izuku Midoriya” has been released ahead of Episode 8 (overall Episode 167) “Izuku Midoriya: Rising” from the final chapter of the My Hero Academia anime series, which airs every Saturday at 5:30 PM (JST) on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. Episode 8 will depict the heroes, led by Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, confronting the final showdown against the Demon King–like villain All For One.

In Episode 7, the consciousness of Tenko Shimura re-emerged within Tomura Shigaraki, only for his body to be completely overtaken by the Demon King All For One. Deku found himself cornered, facing overwhelming power, until his Class 1-A classmates and their homeroom teacher, Pro Hero Shota Aizawa, rushed in to rescue him. The upcoming Episode 8 “Izuku Midoriya: Rising,” airing on the 22nd, will finally deliver the last decisive battle.

The newly revealed visual spotlights Deku sprinting forward with a desperate expression, fully determined to face All For One in this ultimate confrontation.

Additionally, a special live video edition of the series’ weekly internet radio show “All Might Nippon,” normally streamed on the Otomate Radio Station “Onsen,” will air on YouTube on the 22nd, the day Episode 8 broadcasts. The live stream will feature the show’s personalities Daiki Yamashita (voice of Izuku Midoriya) and Nobuhiko Okamoto (voice of Katsuki Bakugo), joined by Hiroyuki Yoshino, who plays Present Mic. Together, the three will host a high-energy session cheering on Deku and the heroes heading into their final fight.

In the anime, Present Mic is a Pro Hero, a U.A. High School teacher, and a radio DJ who hosts “Present MIC’s Put Your Hands Up Radio.” This special program also acts as a crossover between “All Might Nippon” and his in-universe radio show. The broadcast will be split into two parts, with Part 1 airing from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, right before the anime episode, and Part 2 streaming at 6:00 PM on the TOHO animation YouTube channel.

Furthermore, in celebration of Episode 8, a hashtag campaign titled “#頑張れ緑谷出久” (“Go for it Izuku Midoriya”) has begun. Fans can submit supportive messages on X, TikTok, and Instagram using the hashtag #頑張れ緑谷出久. Selected messages will be featured during the special “All Might Nippon” live broadcast, and will also be incorporated into a newly designed special visual alongside the freshly revealed key art. Just as people around the world support Deku within the story, this campaign invites fans in the real world to cheer him on in the same spirit.
