The story and preview images for Episode 5 (overall Episode 164) of the TV anime My Hero Academia Final Season (JP: 僕のヒーローアカデミア FINAL SEASON) have been released. The episode will air on Saturday, November 1 at 5:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 5 Story

The fierce battle between All For One and Bakugo, which saw both unleash their full power, finally comes to an end. Meanwhile, Deku continues to fight desperately against Tomura Shigaraki, pushing the limits of One For All. In Episode 3, Shigaraki’s hand reached out and succeeded in stealing one of the Quirks. Now, Deku’s response to this devastating turn of events is about to be revealed.

As the ninth successor of One For All, Deku stands as humanity’s greatest hope and final stronghold. On the other side stands Shigaraki—once bound by All For One’s curse, now a being of pure destruction with overwhelming power. At last, the ultimate showdown between hero and villain begins.

About My Hero Academia

Based on the best-selling manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2014 to 2024, My Hero Academia depicts a world where superpowers known as Quirks are commonplace. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, a boy born without a Quirk who dreams of becoming a hero. Under the mentorship of the Symbol of Peace, All Might, he enrolls at U.A. High School to train alongside his classmates to protect society from those who would use their powers for evil.

The anime first aired in 2016 and has continued through seven seasons. The Final Season marks the eighth and concluding chapter of the TV adaptation.
