The anime The Dangers in My Heart will release its theatrical film on February 13, 2026. November 9 marks the birthday of Kana Ichikawa, the older sister of Kyotaro Ichikawa, the series’ introverted, chuunibyo protagonist. To celebrate the occasion, a new commemorative illustration and video have been revealed.

The new illustration depicts Kana in a pure white dress holding a bouquet of pink roses, smiling radiantly. Hidden among the flowers is a tiny Kyotaro wearing a matching white suit, celebrating his sister’s special day.

The birthday video includes newly recorded voice lines by Yukari Tamura, who voices Kana. In the clip, she affectionately exclaims, “Today is my birthday—the one and only beloved sister of my sweet little brother Kyo-chan, who I know loves me the most (or so I’d like to believe)!” The video compiles memorable moments from the series, showcasing Kana’s playful and loving personality.

In addition, a limited-edition movie ticket with exclusive birthday bonuses has gone on sale today. Fans who purchase during the campaign period will receive a Special Birthday Card featuring the new illustration. This collectible card will only be available for a limited time.

Based on the manga serialized in Manga Cross (Akita Shoten), The Dangers in My Heart has earned widespread acclaim—ranking twice in Kono Manga ga Sugoi!’s “Best Manga for Men” category and winning first place in the 2020 Next Manga Awards Web Manga Division. The romantic comedy follows the awkward yet heartwarming relationship between introverted Kyotaro Ichikawa and charming, slightly airheaded beauty Anna Yamada.
