The preview images for Episode 7 of the TV anime This Monster Wants to Eat Me (JP: 私を喰べたい、ひとでなし) have been revealed. This episode will air on Thursday, November 12 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 7 Story

At a rainy beach, Hinako Yaotose witnesses a sorrowful being born from the anguish of someone who met a tragic end. Moments later, Shiori Oumi catches sight of the scars left by Hinako’s accident. However, instead of reacting with shock, Shiori tells her that what matters most is that Hinako is still herself.

A few days later, Miko Yashiro asks Hinako to serve as the manager for the basketball team’s training camp.

Introduction

A mermaid girl named Shiori suddenly appears and gently takes the hand of Hinako, who lives alone in a seaside town. She whispers softly: Hinako’s flesh and blood are said to be especially delicious, so much so that countless yokai are drawn to her.

Shiori vows to protect Hinako until she matures and reaches her “most perfect state”… and then, she promises, she will eat her.

Yet within Hinako’s heart arises a desperate thought:

“Maybe this person can grant my wish.”
