The TV anime The Strongest Job Is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser (Provisional)! will begin airing in April 2026. Along with the announcement, a new key visual, promotional video (PV), and details on the five main cast members were revealed.

The story follows Hibiki Manabe, a high school student who suddenly finds himself transported to a vast meadow in another world. Although he receives a non-combat job title “Appraiser (Provisional)” he uses his unique abilities to face countless challenges in this “provisionally strongest” fantasy adventure.

The latest visual features Hibiki standing in a lush otherworldly field as he takes his first step into adventure. The newly released PV offers an early look at the anime’s world and characters ahead of its spring premiere.

The main cast includes Hisako Kanemoto as Hibiki Manabe, Shizuka Ito as Emalia Steinbart, Kenta Miyake as Claude, Lamaru Famichell Tateyama as Lilian, and Shina Shuto as Vene.

The anime is directed by Makoto Hoshino, with Megumi Shimizu handling series composition and script, and Mihoko Okawa and Yoshie Matsumoto serving as character designers. Animation production is by Studio Flad.

To commemorate the adaptation, congratulatory comments and illustrations were shared by original author Atekichi, illustrator Akira Shigaraki, and manga artist Atsushi Takeda, along with enthusiastic messages from the director and main cast.
