Voice Actor Naomi Ozora Hospitalized with Suspected Bacterial Tonsillitis, Withdraws from “Uma Musume” Event
Voice actor Naomi Ozora has been hospitalized for suspected bacterial tonsillitis and will not appear at the “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby 6th EVENT The New Frontier - Autumn” scheduled for October 19, 2025, according to an announcement made on October 17.

Her agency, Aoni Production, released a statement on its official website, saying:
“Following a medical examination due to poor health, Naomi Ozora was diagnosed with suspected bacterial tonsillitis and advised to undergo hospitalization for further testing and treatment.”
The agency continued:
“Based on her doctor’s orders, she will refrain from participating in the ‘Uma Musume: Pretty Derby 6th EVENT The New Frontier - Autumn’ scheduled for October 19 (Sunday).”
They concluded with an apology to fans and event staff:
“We sincerely apologize for the concern and inconvenience caused to all those who were looking forward to her performance, and kindly ask for your understanding.”
Ozora, a graduate of Ritsumeikan University’s College of Image Arts and Sciences and a 28th class alumna of the Aoni Juku Osaka School, is best known for her roles as Chieri Ogata in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, Hana Uzaki in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, and Tamamo Cross in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
