Memorial Event to be Held Three Months After the Passing of Illustrator Mutsumi Inomata: Masae Hashimoto Shares Her Thoughts

On the 1st of this month, the sister of the late illustrator Mutsumi Inomata, who passed away on March 10th, updated Inomata's X account to announce that a memorial event, "Thank You, Mutsumi Inomata," will be held.

She posted an image with details about the event, accompanied by an illustration, and commented, "This is Maiko, her sister. Thanks to the cooperation of many people, we are able to hold this memorial event for my sister. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those involved."

In addition, Inomata's friend and fellow illustrator, Masae Hashimoto, shared her thoughts, "This is Masae Hashimoto. Thank you very much to everyone who helped. I hope this event can be a time to cry, remember, and laugh."

The "Thank You, Mutsumi Inomata" event will take place from June 28th to 30th at Gallery Zen in Kichijoji, Tokyo, with 30-minute time slots available by reservation.

Mutsumi Inomata was a prominent character designer for the popular game series "Tales of." She also contributed to the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" as a design collaborator and provided illustrations for the "Dragon Quest" novels, showcasing her wide-ranging talent.
