Maaya Uchida Marries Kaito Ishikawa! Younger Brother Yuma Uchida Congratulates: “Congratulations, Sis — Welcome, Brother-in-Law”

Maaya Uchida, best known for her role as Ranko Kanzaki in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, announced on September 30 that she has married fellow voice actor Kaito Ishikawa, who is widely recognized as Tenya Ida in My Hero Academia. Uchida is also the elder sister of voice actor Yuma Uchida, who took to social media to congratulate the couple.

In a joint statement, they shared: “We sincerely apologize for the sudden announcement, but we, Maaya Uchida and Kaito Ishikawa, have gotten married. We are deeply grateful to all the fans who have supported us and to everyone in the industry who has stood by us throughout our careers.”

Following the announcement, Yuma Uchida updated his X (formerly Twitter) account with a celebratory message:

Yuma himself married voice actress Rina Hidaka in 2024.

Her younger brother Yuma Uchida is also a successful voice actor. Kaito Ishikawa is acclaimed for his roles including Tenya Ida in My Hero Academia, Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Sakuta Azusagawa in the Rascal Does Not Dream series.
