The trailer highlights iconic Star Wars imagery: intense lightsaber duels with red and blue blades clashing, droids embarking on journeys, and an AT-AT rising from a snowy field. Classic lines such as “May the Force be with you” echo throughout, offering a glimpse into the diverse storytelling that spans across the nine shorts.
Returning from Volume 1 are Masaki Terasoma, Asami Seto, and Chinatsu Akasaki. Newly confirmed cast members include celebrated Japanese voice actors Daisuke Namikawa, Akira Ishida, Fairouz Ai, Tomokazu Sugita, Mamoru Miyano, and Tomoyo Kurosawa.
On the English dub side, the lineup is equally star-studded. Notably, Anna Sawai, who made history as the first Japanese actor to win an Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series with Shogun, will lend her voice.
This new installment blends quintessential Star Wars motifs like the Force, lightsabers, and droids with the charm and artistry of Japanese anime, making it one of the most anticipated cultural crossovers worldwide.
