A gambler with an outlaw spirit. She used to drift about aimlessly, but under the guidance of a respected mentor, she discovered the thrill of throwing herself into racing. Despite this, she has an old-fashioned sense of compassion, and is often found in back alleys sharing a bowl of stewed offal with strangers.

A moody horse bought cheaply for 10 million yen.

Despite starting at 9th choice, he won the Tokyo Sports Hai Nisai Stakes for his second straight victory. After a narrow second in the Keisei Hai, he skipped prep races and finished 8th in the Satsuki Sho. In the Derby on heavy ground he closed well for 4th behind Logi Universe. That autumn he won the St. Lite Kinen but finished 12th in the Kikuka Sho, ending the Classics

In the 2010 Takarazuka Kinen, He shocked the field, sweeping past on the outside with ease to win, beating stars like Buena Vista, Dream Journey, and Derby winner Logi Universe despite being the 8th favorite.

After the race, the connections announced their intention to run in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

He then declared for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, finishing 2nd in the G2 Prix Foy. In the Arc itself, he battled fiercely down the stretch, losing by just a head, the closest Japan had ever come to victory in the race.

Afterward, in his first race back in Japan, the Japan Cup, he finished 14th. The following year, 2011, he tried again, but after a fourth in the Prix Foy and an eleventh in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, he bid farewell to the turf.
